All that was missing at Mt Perry Saturday night were the reindeer. From a beaut sunny day for the cutting to a freezing night for the end of the rodeo. There was praise for the preparation of the surface.

A lot of barrels bounced, and King’s bulls, Knudsen’s horses, along with Augustine’s bullocks made the rider incur injuries. Rodeo protection Larry Barron, Scott Murray and ? showed what is needed and found a way to keep warm.

A large crowd arrived early for the inaugural Mt Perry 4BBBB’s and increased as the cutting/team-penning finished. Only 5 bullriders made it to the top 6 chute out and 1 was able to complete the journey.

The organisers, contractors and and contestants put together an entertaining display. but it was COLD.
